Three games were played this weekend, we were unlucky not to have won all three with 4ths playing out a thriller at Bernie Regan.
Second Grade - Our second grade continues on their way this week with another win. Bowling Norths out for 124, we got that in the 32nd over. Best of the bowlers was Gary Fuss who is in great form this year with 4 for 22. With the bat was where the story was with Captain Shane Halliday coming in down the order and combining with Gary Fuss ( pictured) to hit the winning runs. Nice boys! Kuldeep Singh rana top scored in the middle order with with a nice 37 off 35.
Third Grade - Toot toot the 3rds train is leaving the station , everyone jump on! Up to top possie on the ladder for the boys this week after a great win over the bay. Jake Lewis ( pictured) was unplayable with the ball taking a great 5fa with 5 for 11, nice Jake! This and good bowling from Jovan Croese ( 2 for 16) led to the bay being all out for 76. We chased that down in 13.30 overs, with Kyeden Booth smashing 36 off 24.
Fourth Grade - a very close game however not our week this week. Playing on the postage stamp that is Bernie Regan 2, norths batted first and made 208. Darien Moore led from the front with the ball with 2 for 26. A top innings again from Darien ( pictured) with 61 backed up by Ivan Beiniasch with 44 wasn't enough to get us over the line with us only making 204. A hard loss but really a great game and good experience for our 4th grade team.
