After having three games affected by rain or poor light, our women's team were finally able to complete a match, resulting in a resounding win. Our junior teams faced some tough competition, while all our senior teams took the field this weekend.

Juniors

Stage 1 – Coming up against Ulladulla United Gold, our Stage 1 team batted first, making a respectable 78 thanks to the efforts of Ben Newing (11) and Jash Talatiya (5). With the ball, Nyx Wilson starred, taking 2-9 from his 3 overs, while Max Russell, Jash Talatiya and Ben Newing each took a wicket, however, the Ulladulla team took the victory.

Stage 2 – Ulladulla United Gold batted first against our Stage 2 team, making 3-149 from 22 overs. Bayin Wills and Virat Rana took a wicket each before the attention turned towards our vatting. Chasing this total was never going to be easy, and the team were bowled out for 57. Top scorers were Lennox Wills (17) and Archie Richards (12).

Stage 3 – Playing at Hayden Drexel Oval for the first time this year, there were plenty of runs scored in our Stage 3 clash against Bay and Basin. The visitors batted first and made 3-213 from 29 overs as Myles Condon and Xavier Smith each grabbed a wicket. In reply, Xavier Smith's 73 and Katie Martin's 42 helped our team amass 188 but unfortunately, we couldn't go all the way.

Seniors

Womens – Our women (pictured top left) took on Albion Park, who batted first setting 4-107 from their 20 overs thanks to an all-round economic bowling effort that featured mother and daughter duo Anne and Nakita Boatswain (pictured bottom middle). Our ladies made light work of the run-chase, taking 10.2 overs to clinch victory. Anne Boatswain (pictured bottom left) compiled a handy 51* from 27 balls while Emily Goldfinch smashed 27* from just 6 balls.

First Grade – After a rain delayed start, our first-grade match against Kookas was reduced to 36 overs per team. Our boys won the toss and bowled first, as Gavin McCauley snatched 4-27 from his 8 overs keeping Kookas to 6-190. The Army prevailed, chasing down the total in the last over thanks to handy contributions from Aaron Van Essen (47 from 25) and Roop Sharma (36* from 32).

Second Grade - Taking on Bomaderry at Artie Smith Oval, our second-grade team bowled first. After 40 overs, Bomaderry managed 5-190 as Jake Lewis took 2-33 from his 8 overs. After a fantastic opening stand between Shane Halliday (37) and Andre Dekker (39), our team unfortunately collapsed around Kieran Richards (45) to be bowled out 20 runs short in the 39th over.

Third Grade – Our third-grade team faced some strong competition from Ulladulla United who set a mammoth 9-255. With the ball, Don Tharaka and Kent Ellery each took 2 wickets as the team also secured 2 run outs. In response, our team could only manage 54, with Adrian Hornsby (18) top scoring.

Fourth Grade – Our fourth-grade team won against Bomaderry by forfeit.
