First Grade - The weather gods had different plans for first this week, having to abandon the game. The boys have been training hard and its onto next week now.
Second Grade - With us batting first, Batemans Bay bowled really well and took some early wickets, it left us with a pretty hard target to defend. Kuldeep Singh Rana is in nice touch at the moment top scoring with 26. We did make a game of it by bowling very well and it took the bay 35 overs to get the target of 109. Bowling honors shared between Nash Connell with 2 for 30 off his 8 and Brad Cuddy with 2 for 22 off 7.20
Third Grade - With Donny away this week, Jared Galvin stood up and captained 3rds against the heads and brought home the biccies. Set a target of 176 we got that in 33 overs. Jared led from the front with 2 for 27 off his 8 overs, with Jeevan Hettigoda taking 2 for 32 off his 8. With the bat Jack Langford was on fire this week, making 83, a really good innings from Jack, well done mate! Jared Galvin backed him up with 40, and a special mention to Shaia Wagner Smith filling in from 4th grade who made 31 not out- nice Shaia!
Fourth Grade - as predicted last week, 4ths got the job done. Batting first we were off to a flyer, making 9 for 224. Bryce Goldfinch made a great 63 not out (nice Bryce!) , with Kyeden Booth making 31. With the ball Mitchell Janes showed a lot of steel taking 2 for 5 off the last few overs at the death. We welcome back Nathan Darville who was a pillar of motivation out there in the field, also taking 2 for 21 off his 6 overs.
Juniors
Stage 3 Gold - had a hard time this week against the stage 3 premiership favorites basin. Some positives were that Devin Kuruvila took 2 for 17 off his 3 overs, with Noah Dyball top scoring with 8 off the bat. Onto next week now guys
Stage 3 Green - had a nice win against Berry. Set 93 to win we got that in 18.30 overs. Lukas Janes with his leggies took 2 for 5 off 2.20 overs backed up by Mitchell Janes with 2 for 6 off 3, Dan Bishop also bowled very well with 2 for 8 off his 4. The story of this game was Joel Galvin (pictured left) getting a nice half century with 50 off 60 balls. Nice Joel!
Stage 2 - had a great win against Batemans Bay. Making 102, with Logan Halliday top scoring with 19, Batemans Bay was all out for 45. The bowling honors were evenly spread, with Jack Meagher best of the bowlers taking 2 for 10 off his 4 overs.
Stage 1 - The stage one bandwagon just keeps on rolling on! Bomaderry made 93 and we were able to make 154. With the ball Jesse Moss (pictured right) was bowling some absolute cherries taking 3 for 14 off his 3 overs. With the bat Bayin Wills made 21 and Lennox Wills 20, nice batting there boys!
